Michael Jacobs, a son of Cliff Jacobs, (a former Partner of the firm), was admitted to practice in 1978, and became a partner in the firm in 1982. Michael retired from the Partnership in 2018 but remains with the firm as a Consultant / Lawyer.
His principal areas of expertise are in Property, Retirement Villages and Elder Law, including Wills and Powers of Attorney. Michael can also advise in relation to General Commercial matters.
Although Michael operates mainly out of the Boronia office, he also visits the Rowville office by appointment.
As a local resident, Michael has been involved in a wide range of community activities over the years. He is a stalwart of the Boronia Rotary Club of which he has been President in 1986/87 and 2010/11. Michael is also currently on the Board of the Glengollan Village (for aged persons) of Ferntree Gully and was a long-serving member of the Council of Boronia Primary School and Board of the Knox Community Health Service. Michael has also lent his weight to fund-raising activities for the Angliss Hospital and has coached junior basketball teams in the area.
